The last school session and see you in August!
Summer break!!! so much and always too little. But always well deserved.
The school year 2021-22 is officially done and over and we are in the summer mood. But what a year it was! After two years of distance living, we had to start almost like form the beginning. two years it's a very long time in our school life. New students, new families, teachers, new board of directors. It was very important for us to get back on track as fast as we could keeping in mind that we wouldn't be able to do everything we wanted, we wished for. So we have focused on the things that have been vital and important to our school and community throughout the years.
Without our great teachers we wouldn't even know where to start. Thanks to them all of the classes were able to start, even the Polish 101 for Adults. There is no words that can express how grateful we are for our educators. Those people give their heart, time and work every day to prepare and run classes as well as after school events. We do appreciate every single minute our teachers put forward their students and our school. Thank you for the bottom of our heart for your work and passion!
This year was full of coming backs. The return to our school and after school traditional events was one of the priorates. We were able to invite people from Polish diaspora in DFW to school camping, to Meeting with Santa, Jaselka and Spring Picnic with egg hunt. Getting each of those events done was a huge mark in our calendar, especially when we saw how many people showed up and how much fun it was for everyone.
As always at the end of the school year, each of our students got a diploma. It was very nice and festive part of the last day at school. But there were also a bitter notes mixed in. Once again we would like to thank Edyta Zydorek and Alina Rymarz for all the years they had volunteered as a school board members. THANK YOU!
There is so many things that we are grateful for. So many things we would like to thank each and everyone of you. When we had started this school year we we were full of uncertainty about the ordinary daily business as well as about anything unexpected. Yes, we were a little worried about the finances, about the daily business and student response. We weren't sure if we could get the school spirit and energy back. So every weekend school session done, every event done we celebrated a little. Things were moving along with a bumps here or there. But all in all, we've made it and we are looking in the future with more hope and bigger plans. It all has happened thanks to the trust, support and patience you all had in us, in our school in those strange times. Your response and help day in and day out have made it possible to provide our Polish students with a little piece of their home country deep down in the heart of Texas! THANK YOU!
Just take a look how one of our classes celebrated the last day of school. You take that excitement, fun and pure joy and implant it in your summer plans. Please be safe and healthy, but be open for new experiences and adventures. We want to hear all about it in August, when we are back in business. Have fun wherever this summer will take you!
