St. Nicolas is a true giver and he always delivers. Even during the harsh time of COVID-19 pandemic.

He visited our school on the sunny Saturday at the beginning of December. Well. he could not enter the school as all the buildings remain closed to the public due to the pandemic. But that was not an issue for his hard working elves. Since the weather was almost spring like, the elves had staged everything outside.

Pandemic rules and restrictions have been obligatory for everybody, for Santa and his elves, too. This year, there wasn't any special presentation for St. Nick, no special songs or poems. Instead, there were face coverings and social distancing. But kids were patient. Everybody have waited in their car for their turn to visit with St. Nick.

As always, even during the strange and hard times, Santa has delivered. The kids were happy and smiling. However, we do hope that the next year, we will be able to meet the Santa in our usual, traditional way, with a big celebration and unmasked smiles! See you in a year, Santa!
