Jan Karski

Jan Karski, his proper name was Jan Kozielewski, was born on April 24, 1914 in Lodz, Poland and died on July 13, 2000 in Washington, USA. Polish lawyer and diplomat, historian. From 1939 in conspiracy against Germany, served as a courier and emissary for the Polish Undergrand Government, witness of Holocaust. For his activity has been awarded the highest national distinctions: Polish Medal of White Eagle and American Presidential Medal of Freedom. In 2012, our school has chosen Jan Karski to be it's patron.

Polish Bilingual Day in 2019, we dedicated to Jan Karski's life. It was an opportunity to learn more about our school's patron. Our amazing teachers came up with lots of games and activities for all ages, for adults, too. Everything was connected with Jan Karski's life and biography.
